Position Overview: The selected candidate will assume a pivotal role in both technical and managerial capacities, focusing on the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects for various clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Design Lead and/or Project Manager for all facets of Civil/Site Development Design initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams and clients to gather data, conduct thorough technical analyses, and produce permitting and construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and quality control plans.
  • Formulate Concept, Layout, Preliminary, and Final Engineering Plans.
  • Oversee the creation of erosion/sediment control plans and utility relocation strategies.
  • Manage the submission of permit applications.
  • Act as the technical authority in site layout, utility and grading plans, stormwater analyses, and site development permits.
  • Conduct and supervise civil engineering analyses and numerical evaluations utilizing various software tools.
  • Assess hydrology and generate hydraulic/drainage calculations, SWPPPs, and secure NDPES permits.
  • Engage in field observations and inspections of construction activities, particularly addressing problem-solving scenarios.
  • Maintain communication with clients regarding project deliverables.
  • Prepare and oversee project proposals and engineering cost estimates.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and ensure quality of deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and Project Management methodologies.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D for various Civil/Site Design projects.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, professionalism, and comfort in client interactions.
  • Able to manage multiple projects while maintaining a focus on quality.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Over 8 years of experience in Civil/Site Design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) credential is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
