MetroPlusHealth is dedicated to empowering New Yorkers by providing access to quality healthcare services. As a Medicare Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in helping individuals navigate the healthcare system and make informed decisions about their health insurance options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage with prospective enrollees to determine eligibility for MetroPlusHealth's Medicare product.
  • Provide education and assistance to enrollees, ensuring they understand the benefits, exclusions, and exemptions of the plan.
  • Conduct home visits and personalized appointments to complete the enrollment process.
  • Market MetroPlusHealth's Medicare line of business at various sites, including hospitals, senior centers, and community events.
  • Collaborate with Outreach Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, and other MetroPlusHealth personnel to resolve member concerns and facilitate enrollments or disenrollments.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with facility and site staff, community organizations, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalency; College Degree or coursework preferred.
  • 2-3 years of Sales/Customer Relations experience required.
  • Public speaking experience.
  • Medicare Sales experience preferred.
  • Bi-Lingual and Multi-Lingual a plus.
  • Valid NYS Life, Accident and Health License at the time of employment.
