Position Overview
The role of the ADAS Senior Test Engineer is pivotal in managing and executing a variety of testing and development activities that align with our organizational objectives. This position involves close collaboration with teams across the globe, ensuring cohesive development of ADAS software technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Lateral Control software functionalities and fine-tune vehicle control systems.
  • Formulate functional software requirements related to CAN interfaces, self-diagnostics, and failsafe detection for vehicle development, coordinating with system suppliers for seamless integration.
  • Oversee project management tasks, including testing vehicle systems, negotiating hardware and software interfaces, and troubleshooting vehicles during testing phases.
  • Manage development timelines, liaise with various departments and suppliers, and explore new technologies and market trends.
  • Prepare and present technical documentation and reports, including detailed root cause analyses as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, or Controls Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics and steering control functions, with experience in tuning vehicle control systems.
  • Strong understanding of requirements management, function validation, diagnostics, and CAN structures.
  • Hands-on mechanical skills and a solid grasp of vehicle systems.
  • Analytical capabilities to prepare prototype vehicles for testing.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting system issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for various project needs.
  • Valid driver's license required for vehicle operation during testing.
  • Proficient in PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CANalyzer, CANape, and other technical software).
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to information gathering and requirement specification.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems and Vector CAN tools is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical hardware fundamentals and the software development process.
  • Strong presentation skills.
