Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Kennewick / Richland.

As a key member of our Behavioral Health Solutions team, you will provide high-quality mental health services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

We encourage collaboration and offer hands-on leadership opportunities.

About the Role

This is a part-time availability position with opportunities for full-time hybrid providers (Telehealth and SNF).

You will have the option to work as a W2 Billable Hourly Rate employee or 1099 Independent Contractor.

The ideal candidate will be licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
  • Assess patient's mental status based on symptoms.
  • Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
  • Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
  • Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
  • Telehealth options available for some services.
Requirements
  • Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
  • Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA).
  • Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees).
  • 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
  • 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Compensation

$63.00 to $88.00 per Billable Hour. Compensation determined based on pay model preferred, experience, and licensure.
