About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Sales Executive to join our Amazon Web Services, Inc. team. As a Cloud Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share in a defined region, serving as a key member of our AWS Public Sector team, and advancing our market and technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Revenue and Market Share: Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans aligned to AWS's strategic direction, and drive revenue growth in a defined region.
  • Advance Market and Technical Strategy: Collaborate with customers to ensure they understand relevant cloud use cases, are successful using AWS services, and are able to build the technical resources required to fully embrace cloud services.
  • Manage Complex Contract Negotiations: Work closely with AWS's Legal team and others to manage complex contract negotiations and maintain an accurate and robust pipeline and forecast of business opportunities.
  • Develop and Manage Sales Pipeline: Engage with prospects, partners, and key customers to develop and manage the sales pipeline, and prepare and deliver business reviews to the senior management team regarding quarterly and yearly strategies that align with revenue growth expectations.
  • Accelerate Customer Adoption and Satisfaction: Work closely with customers to ensure they are successful using AWS services and are able to build the technical resources required to fully embrace cloud services.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Full Sales Cycle Experience: Proven experience in full sales cycle, technology sales, or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Sales CRM Tools: Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
  • Experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS: Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS, and the ability to think strategically about government priorities and technical challenges.
