Position Overview: The Healthcare Business Development Specialist will spearhead initiatives in designated target sectors to uncover and support high-volume healthcare prospects. This role involves contributing to the formulation, execution, and management of marketing strategies while ensuring active participation in industry-specific events and organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess new business prospects within healthcare facilities such as hospitals and surgical centers.
  • Maintain established standards and controls for healthcare operations.
  • Surpass sales targets for both rental and direct sales in the assigned market.
  • Conduct regular training and educational sessions as needed by senior management.
  • Develop and deliver professional proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • Utilize the designated sales force automation tool to document daily sales activities, create schedules, and provide thorough updates on client interactions.
  • Implement prospect management processes effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze prospect management reports.
  • Schedule consistent meetings with the sales team within the designated territory.
  • Initiate strategy meetings for target accounts with relevant sales and operations team members.
  • Provide insights on marketing initiatives and strategies.
  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns and plans.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry gatherings.
  • Engage actively in industry-specific associations.
  • Foster relationships with operational and sales support teams.
  • Share best practices and insights with fellow business development specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with sales policies, including commission structures and account management processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in sales within the healthcare sector is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong presentation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with sales force systems.
  • Excellent customer service aptitude.

Working Environment: The role may require travel up to 50% of the time.

Experience: A background of three to five years in sales and marketing, preferably in the healthcare industry, is desirable.

Education: Relevant educational qualifications are expected.

License Requirements: A valid driver's license is necessary.
