Escalation and Incident Response Specialist (EMEA)

The Incident and Escalation Management division is an integral part of Datadog's Global Support Engineering (GSE) organization. We are seeking professionals with expertise in Incident Management and Escalation processes to enhance our team. In this role, you will ensure prompt incident resolution and take ownership of stakeholder communication. Your contributions will include technical engagement and incident oversight for our international clientele. We prioritize a collaborative office culture and creativity, operating in a hybrid work environment to promote work-life balance for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the resolution of incidents and escalations for clients
  • Develop and execute real-time monitoring solutions for customer infrastructures
  • Assess, manage, and take ownership of client issues
  • Oversee and coordinate communications during incidents
  • Work closely with stakeholders to improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead initiatives aimed at operational enhancements
  • Generate and evaluate documentation and training materials
  • Identify and resolve cloud infrastructure challenges
  • Recruit and mentor colleagues and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an IT role
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of Cloud computing and familiarity with scripting languages
  • Proven experience in driving projects and resolving issues in dynamic environments
