Position Overview:
As an Emergency Response Security Specialist, you will be responsible for executing EMT-1 duties during medical situations involving Team Members and Guests on Casino premises. Your role is crucial in maintaining order and safeguarding the Casino's assets under the guidance of the Security Shift Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report any suspicious or unusual activities, ensuring the safety of Guests and Team Members throughout the property.
- Administer CPR and oxygen as necessary during medical emergencies, along with providing First Aid to Team Members or Guests.
- Document incidents thoroughly by writing reports and attaching all relevant supporting documents into the iTrak System.
- Educate Security Team Members on assisting during medical situations and emergencies involving Team Members and Guests.
- Oversee the inventory of medical supplies, ensuring they are adequately stocked, and request additional supplies as needed, while also confirming the functionality of AED units.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- Uphold Casino policies as they relate to both Team Members and Guests.
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude consistently.
- Respond promptly to incidents on property when called upon.
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
- Keep the work environment clean and organized.
Additional Duties:
- Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required unless waived by the Director of Human Resources.
- Current EMT-1 certification is mandatory.
- Prior experience as a Security Officer or in a related field is preferred.
- Basic computer skills are essential.
- Experience in a Casino environment and guest service is preferred.
