Overview

Amedisys, a leading home health and hospice company, seeks a skilled Hospice Liaison Business Development Representative to join our team. This role involves educating healthcare professionals, patients, and families about home care services, developing relationships with key referral sources, and coordinating patient admissions.

Responsibilities

  • Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices.
  • Coordinate patient admissions with the team, including obtaining all required documentation.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care.
  • Keep accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
  • Achieve admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
  • Meet short and long-term target account goals.
  • Document sales calls and maintain a complete record of targeted referral sources.
  • Attend community events to promote Amedisys.
  • Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare-related business development/outreach role.
  • Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance.
