Position Overview:

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Entegris, you will play a pivotal role in the development of advanced filtration and purification products utilized in semiconductor processing.

Your collaboration with the production team will be essential in driving initiatives aimed at enhancing output, minimizing scrap and rework, eliminating waste, and improving overall operational efficiency while ensuring quality and safety are integral to every process.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an active presence in the cleanroom manufacturing environment to provide ongoing support for manufacturing processes.
  • Address daily production and process challenges, acting as the primary point of contact in assembly, while working closely with operators, fellow engineers, R&D, NPI, and quality assurance teams.
  • Lead and execute projects designed to enhance operational efficiency and deliver cost savings that align with corporate goals, including on-time delivery and productivity improvements.
  • Enhance the maturity of process data and utilize statistical methods to gain a deeper understanding of our processes, with the objective of achieving higher yields and efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, including SPC and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, to resolve manufacturing product issues and promote continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify issues, analyze data, and develop and implement effective process solutions.
  • Apply best practices in manufacturing to ensure safety, quality, reliability, and predictability in all operations.
  • Assist in directing and managing processes in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field, along with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a manufacturing engineer or chemical processing engineer in a manufacturing setting.

Required Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience utilizing manufacturing methodologies such as SPC and Lean/Six Sigma tools to address complex manufacturing challenges.
  • Proven track record in yield improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
