Job Overview

The Overnight LVN/LPN plays a crucial role in supporting residents throughout their treatment journey, from the moment they are admitted until their discharge. This position involves effective communication of observations and insights to the treatment team, which includes therapists, dietitians, psychiatrists, pediatricians, and facility administrators, ensuring that each client's needs are comprehensively addressed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitating therapeutic group sessions.
  • Maintaining thorough and accurate client documentation.
  • Being available for after-hours consultations and responding to calls/pages promptly.
  • Administering prescribed medications.
  • Conducting daily narcotic counts and logging them appropriately.
  • Assessing medical issues as they arise.
  • Providing primary first aid and determining when physician notification is necessary.
  • Collaborating with physicians and psychiatrists to ensure appropriate medical interventions.
  • Conducting daily assessments for each client and managing their medication schedules.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with hours from Wednesday to Friday, 7 PM to 7 AM.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an LVN/LPN program or equivalent.
  • Possession of a current LVN/LPN license in good standing.
  • Preferred one year of experience in mental health or eating disorder settings.
  • Blood draw certification is a plus.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License in good standing.
