Position: Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Employment Type: PRN/As-Needed
Schedule: Monday-Friday Days (Hours Vary)
Flexibility Required

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to enhance our exceptional team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). In this pivotal role, you will deliver safe and personalized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical and cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and patient-focused service.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitoring patient recovery and responding to any changes in condition.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Valid Texas RN License or Eligible Compact License.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, & PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • BSN required or completion within 3 years of hire.
  • Previous experience in PACU or ICU is preferred.
  • CPAN certification is a plus.
