Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Instructor to join our Nursing Department at St. Edward's University. As a Clinical Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a clinical setting, while also contributing to the development of our nursing program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in a clinical setting, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our nursing program, including course syllabi and lesson plans.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students and faculty.
  • Participate in departmental and university-wide initiatives to promote excellence in nursing education.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current RN license in the state of Texas.
  • At least two years of experience in nursing, with a focus on clinical instruction.
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience with online learning platforms and technologies.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
