We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Instructor to join our Nursing Department at St. Edward's University. As a Clinical Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a clinical setting, while also contributing to the development of our nursing program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and mentor students in a clinical setting, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our nursing program, including course syllabi and lesson plans.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students and faculty.
- Participate in departmental and university-wide initiatives to promote excellence in nursing education.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current RN license in the state of Texas.
- At least two years of experience in nursing, with a focus on clinical instruction.
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience with online learning platforms and technologies.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
