This position offers a flexible work arrangement, combining onsite and hybrid opportunities, and requires a presence in the office several days a week. A comprehensive relocation package is available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the engineering department and collaborate with other functions to ensure effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, and cross-functional projects.
• Influence project approaches and strategies within the functional area, contributing to the overall effectiveness and quality of the team.
• Develop and oversee engineering and technology projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate resource allocation and project execution.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with initial cost estimates and timelines, while meeting customer critical-to-quality (CTQ) requirements.
• Cultivate specialized knowledge within your discipline and serve as a resource for best practices and quality assurance.
• Stay informed about the latest technological advancements in your field and contribute to strategic and policy development.
• Utilize sound judgment to navigate complex operational challenges and provide solutions.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and lead smaller projects with moderate risks.
• Communicate complex information effectively and work towards consensus among team members.

Qualifications:

• A Master's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in managing intricate engineering development projects.

Desired Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record in problem-solving and project management.
• Familiarity with avionics project management standards and processes.
• Knowledge of integrated modular avionics (IMA) systems and data management.
