Job Title: Patient Financial Navigator

University Cancer & Blood Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Financial Navigator to join our team. As a Patient Financial Navigator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the financial support they need to access the best possible care.

Job Summary:

The Patient Financial Navigator will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to identify and resolve financial barriers to care. This includes working with various drug assistance and patient assistance programs, creating and implementing payment plans, and processing monthly statements and refunds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with patients and families to understand their financial needs and develop personalized plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and resolve financial barriers to care.
  • Process and manage patient financial information, including creating and sending monthly statements and processing refunds.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and care.
  • Stay up-to-date on changing regulations and policies related to patient financial services.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in medical billing or patient financial services preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
