Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Services department, you will provide advanced clinical and supervisory services, working under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and develop behavior support plans.
Provide clinical supervision, feedback, and evaluation of trainees' work and skill development to meet the requirements of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and the Texas Regulatory Board.
Design and implement accountability systems to monitor progress on restraint reduction, psychotropic medication reduction, and effective positive interventions.
Evaluate the development and implementation of behavior support plans and review the analysis of trends and patterns of problem behaviors, use of restrictive and emergency procedures, and treatment results performed by others.
Plan, assign, and supervise the work of Behavior Analyst I's and other assigned staff to ensure continued professional growth and positive impact of delivery of service to residents.

Requirements:
Ability to conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and functional (analogue) behavior analysis and to develop behavior support plans.
Knowledge and skills in applied behavior analysis and behavior support plan development, implementation, and evaluation.
Ability to evaluate behavioral and program data and to make clinical recommendations based on those data.
Ability to train staff in programming and related behavioral areas.
Ability to professionally supervise behavioral and programming staff.
Ability to work with minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
