About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinician I/II to join our team at Richmond Behavioral Health Authority. As a key member of our staff, you will provide direct clinical services to individuals, including intake, assessment, and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intakes, individual assessments, and diagnostic interviews to identify individual needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Monitor and manage an assigned caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Assist individuals in identifying self-determined goals and jointly prepare individualized service plans.
  • Develop and facilitate psycho-educational groups, provide individual, family, and group counseling, and implement treatment plans.
  • Coordinate case management services, link individuals to community resources and medical services, and interface with other service providers and individual support systems.
  • Provide crisis intervention and prevention services, including training in opioid overdose reversal and the use of naloxone.
  • Document and chart information about individual assessments, diagnostic studies, individual service plans, progress notes, and other individual-related data.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
  • Considerable experience working with individuals with behavioral health disorders in a behavioral health care setting.
  • Licensed Credentialed Addiction Treatment Professional (LCATP) or equivalent licensure.
  • Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
