The Employee Relations Specialist will be essential in aiding the HR department by managing employee relations functions. This role will involve addressing employee inquiries, mediating conflicts, and nurturing a positive workplace culture.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations: Act as the primary contact for employee relations matters, offering guidance and support to both employees and management.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the formulation and execution of HR policies and procedures pertinent to employee relations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain precise and confidential documentation of employee relations cases and outcomes, focusing on preventative data analytics provided monthly in the form of dashboards, reports, and charts for distribution.
  • Training Initiatives: Support the design and delivery of training programs centered on employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Employee Engagement: Advocate for employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills for data analysis within the Employee Relations Team.
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information with care.
  • Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with HR software, preferably Workday.
