Manager, Patient Resources (RN)

Position Overview:
The Clinical Manager of Triage is responsible for overseeing the round-the-clock nursing teams that provide telephonic support to patients and their families.

This role involves active collaboration with the team to ensure adequate shift coverage and to provide immediate decision-making support.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current RN license in Florida or an active multistate/compact nurse license.
  • Certification in BLS for healthcare professionals from an accredited organization.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience, including at least one year in a management role.
  • Experience in acute or post-acute care settings is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Experience managing remote teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with children, family, and group therapy modalities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience with EMR/EHR systems.
  • Ability to respond to urgent situations and develop innovative solutions.
  • Capability to handle multiple priorities and manage emotional stress in a healthcare environment.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance as per company policy.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
  • Capacity to remain composed and effectively manage crisis situations.
  • Strong focus on achieving goals with excellent time management skills.
  • Commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Self-motivated work style with minimal supervision.

  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet departmental needs.
  • Prioritize interventions to resolve operational issues effectively.
  • Conduct timely employee evaluations and regular check-ins with team members.
  • Participate in clinical meetings to review performance metrics and improvement plans.
  • Communicate organizational changes to staff promptly.
  • Hold staff accountable for meeting productivity standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
