Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracts Process Management Specialist to join our dynamic Contracts Management Team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of contractual agreements across the institution.
As a Contracts Process Management Specialist, you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage the entire lifecycle of contracts, from creation and negotiation to approval, execution, compliance, modification, and termination. You will leverage your expertise in contract administration and system management to maintain accurate records, generate insightful reports, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Contracts Management Team by reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting contractual terms and conditions within agreements.
- Establish and promote a centralized contracting process by providing procedural guidance and technical support to stakeholders across the institution.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure appropriate review and negotiation of various contract types.
- Contribute to the implementation and training of new users for the Contracts Management System.
- Ensure compliance with institutional contracting policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits of the Contracts Management System to identify and rectify any deficiencies in data accuracy and reporting.
- Recommend enhancements to the Contracts Management Process and System to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. An Associate's degree with an additional two years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience supporting contract administration and/or project management systems within a business environment. Experience should include administering daily operations, training users, managing user roles and permissions, and conducting system audits.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working in a legal or contracts management environment is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with healthcare state laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to contracting.
- Working experience in a research quality and regulatory environment, including clinical trial conduct, protocol adherence, regulatory submissions, and proficiency with electronic systems used to manage clinical trials data or safety reporting.
- Familiarity with clinical-related contractual relationships, particularly in oncology and/or hematology.
