Your role will also be crucial in meeting our customer expectations, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and punctually.


Our Operations workflow consists of three primary stages: First mile - where products are stored and prepared for orders; Middle mile - where orders are transported to your location; and Last mile - where products are delivered to the customer's doorstep.

It is important to note that while workflows may vary slightly in structure, our commitment to customer satisfaction remains unwavering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, mentor, and inspire your hourly associates
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery commitments
  • Collaborate with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop strategies that align with business goals
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently engage in pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
  • Stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
  • Work in environments with varying noise levels
  • Adapt to variable temperatures and weather conditions (delivery stations may include outdoor loading areas)
  • Continuously navigate stairs (applicable to sites with stair access)

Our fulfillment network introduces new Operations sites annually, offering numerous opportunities for your professional advancement. We recruit Operations Area Supervisors based on location preferences and current business needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in employee and performance management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean methodologies
  • Experience managing a team of 20+ associates
  • Familiarity with process improvement techniques (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
  • Industry experience in retail, food and beverage, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production, or distribution environments.
