We are seeking a Ecommerce Solutions Analyst to become a vital part of our eCommerce Site Experience team. This role is essential in connecting our business objectives with effective technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and assess requirements, transforming them into actionable user stories while ensuring their smooth integration into our software development workflow. Additionally, you will conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide product decisions, pinpoint areas for process enhancement, and work in partnership with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional ecommerce solutions. This work is crucial for improving user experience, driving revenue growth, and maintaining a competitive advantage in the dynamic retail and fintech sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to drive a results-oriented vision for the team.
  • Convert high-level requirements into detailed user stories, ensuring clarity and comprehension for the development team.
  • Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making and requirement definitions.
  • Serve as a communication link between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment on project objectives.
  • Facilitate regular meetings, such as backlog grooming and sprint planning, to refine requirements and prioritize tasks.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product or domain to provide valuable insights and make informed decisions.
  • Collect and evaluate relevant metrics to assess project success and guide data-driven decisions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of requirements, user stories, and any modifications throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Keep stakeholders updated on project progress, risks, and issues while gathering their feedback and input.
  • Effectively demonstrate functionality to stakeholders to ensure the business vision is realized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development or ecommerce.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to craft well-formed user stories.
  • Proficiency in using Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with agile planning, execution, and collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Confidence to independently learn new solutions and processes.
  • Experience working in an Agile development setting, managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce front and back-end functionalities, Retail/eCommerce, or proprietary consumer credit products.
  • A curiosity to explore not only what needs to be accomplished but also what is achievable.
