Business Development Manager

Description:
The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by fostering and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers. This position requires a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities, develop and implement sales strategies, and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Territory Manager to identify new business opportunities and leads within a designated geography
- Maintain and grow existing business relationships through regular communication and account management
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets
- Assume full responsibility for account management after 90 days, including patient billing, customer needs, supply ordering, and phlebotomist management
- Provide weekly summaries of call and account activity to the Senior Territory Manager
- Attend customer meetings and events, and contribute to presentations as needed
Requirements:
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Ability to travel, including overnight stays
- Above-average critical thinking ability
- Demonstrated track record of successful customer relationship building experience
- Demonstrated professionalism
- Willingness and ability to take on additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Prior experience as an inside or outside account manager and sales professional required
- B2B sales experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
- Effective time management skills
Physical and Environmental Demands:
- Position requires sitting, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing
- Position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
