Job Title: Associate Vice President of Medical Center Space and Facility Planning

Join the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center team as we seek an experienced Associate Vice President of Medical Center Space and Facility Planning to lead our facilities planning and management efforts. This is a key leadership role that will play a critical part in shaping the future of our medical center.

About the Role

The Associate Vice President of Medical Center Space and Facility Planning will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic plans for the medical center's facilities, including space planning, design, construction, and renovation. This role will also oversee the management of the medical center's facilities budget and ensure that all facilities-related projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the medical center's facilities, including space planning, design, construction, and renovation.
  • Oversee the management of the medical center's facilities budget and ensure that all facilities-related projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Lead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives for the medical center's facilities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders to ensure that facilities-related projects align with the medical center's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in architecture, engineering, planning, health administration, business administration, or public administration.
  • At least 10 years of experience in senior hospital management, with a focus on facilities planning and management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
