Client Management: Manage a designated portfolio by fulfilling system requirements, identifying opportunities to enhance employee benefits offerings, and fostering strong relationships with existing clients.

Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring acknowledgment of communications within 24 hours and establishing firm follow-up dates.

Administrative Duties: Handle marketing for new and renewal business in accordance with agency protocols, supported by the Marketing and Compliance Director.

Independently manage the administrative and technical aspects of assigned accounts, including:

  • Setting up online enrollment systems
  • Updating management systems
  • Completing compliance requirements
  • Installing new coverage and terminating expiring coverage
  • Conducting post-open enrollment audits

Renewal Preparation: Prepare and present policy renewals to clients, maintaining organized client files in accordance with agency procedures.

Carrier Interactions: Perform necessary functions on various carrier websites, including managing adds, deletes, and verifying coverage.

Client Retention: Achieve a client retention goal of 95% by identifying and pursuing cross-sell opportunities within the assigned portfolio.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers and daily representatives within client organizations, while maintaining credibility with insurance carriers.

Collaboration: Work closely with Producers to ensure all client service and support needs are met throughout the benefits lifecycle.

Compliance and Knowledge: Meet established renewal and compliance timelines, applying a solid understanding of plan designs and industry benchmarks.

Goals and Organization: Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize and accomplish work efficiently.

Professional Development: Attend a majority of training sessions and meetings held by the agency, adhering to attendance policies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in employee benefits client coordination or claims management.
  • In-depth knowledge of benefits processing, including medical, dental, vision, and various other benefit plans.
  • Familiarity with State and Federal Employee Benefit Compliance laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively.
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment to prioritize service requests.
  • Demonstrated customer service and relationship management skills.
