Job Title: Outside Residential Sales-Construction

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Residential Sales Representative to join our team at D.H. Pace Company, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with homeowners, introducing them to our products and services, and meeting or exceeding sales and gross profit performance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and diagnose customer garage door problems
  • Design customized door solutions
  • Make in-home sales presentations using product samples and design software
  • Build long-lasting relationships with homeowners in your assigned territory
  • Prospect with remodel contractors and HOAs, and utilize prequalified company leads and marketing support to build your territory
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards
  • Provide timely and accurate estimates and proposals
  • Maintain and update our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily

Requirements:

  • Two years of outside sales experience
  • Ability to work two evenings a week and every other Saturday, including attendance at weekend home shows
  • Bachelor's degree, highly preferred
  • Successful track record in an outside sales environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with new customers
  • Mechanical aptitude, with experience with blueprints/plans and specs highly desirable
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
