Position Overview

The Housekeeping Room Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring that guest accommodations are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Change bed linens and prepare beds for new guests.
  • Replace used towels and ensure all bathroom amenities are stocked.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Dust and wipe down furniture and surfaces.
  • Replenish bath care products, including soap and shampoo.
  • Restock mini-bar items and ensure they are properly arranged.
  • Clean and maintain public areas, such as hallways and lounges.
  • Report maintenance issues and any necessary repairs to management.
  • Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel services and amenities.
  • Help guests recover lost items.
  • Ensure all assigned rooms are thoroughly cleaned and organized by the end of each shift.
  • Adhere to hotel security protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have prior experience as a Room Attendant or in a similar cleaning role. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and products is preferred. Candidates should possess good physical health and stamina, with the flexibility to work various shifts. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while meeting high-performance standards are essential. A high school diploma is advantageous.
