Pulmonary Care Specialist (Per Diem Night)

Position Overview:

The Pulmonary Care Specialist evaluates patients' respiratory health, collaborates with healthcare professionals to formulate a treatment strategy, and administers respiratory therapies. Key responsibilities include identifying safety concerns and documenting medical discrepancies.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program
  • Valid licensure in the state of New Jersey
  • Certification as a CRT or RRT
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • PALS and NRP certifications

Work Schedule Requirements:

  • Night Shift
  • Per Diem
  • Flexible hours based on departmental requirements

Core Responsibilities:

  • Complies with documentation protocols
  • Works in conjunction with the Multidisciplinary Team
  • Assesses and initiates respiratory interventions
  • Engages in patient care surveillance
  • Offers guidance and training to new staff
