Skincare Specialist

The Spa division is dedicated to fostering an ambiance of tranquility and rejuvenation.

The spa is equipped with numerous treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room, and a soothing whirlpool.

Highlighted services at the Spa at Ocean Place encompass Swedish, Deep-Tissue, Warm Stone, Reflexology, and Pre-Natal massages, along with Facial peels, Microdermabrasion, and Waxing treatments.

Position Summary:
The Skincare Specialist delivers outstanding facial and skincare treatments while ensuring a comfortable and serene environment for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administers professional skincare services and treatments, including waxing, as per licensing requirements.
• Conducts personalized facials and waxing sessions, tailoring treatments to meet individual client needs.
• Advises clients on skincare maintenance routines while promoting relevant retail products.
• Informs clients on achieving and sustaining healthy skin.
• Creates memorable experiences for clients through a welcoming and supportive demeanor.
• Upholds the professionalism and cleanliness of treatment rooms and shared spaces.
• Ensures timely appointments, communicating any delays as needed.
• Effectively promotes Spa services and retail offerings in a courteous and informative manner.
• Responsible for preparing and resetting each treatment area.
• Maintains current knowledge of trends and advancements within the professional spa industry related to products, treatments, and techniques.
• Stays informed about Spa, hotel, and community events to accurately relay information to guests and staff.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid NJ Esthetician license required.
• License must be issued by the appropriate local authority.
• Prior experience as an Esthetician is highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; advanced training in a related field is a plus.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills are essential; a passion for working with people is necessary.
• Effective communication skills with staff and clients, both verbally and in writing, are required.
• Professional appearance must be maintained at all times.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Willingness to be cross-trained in other spa services is preferred.

• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform standard job functions.
• Capability to stand for extended periods.
