Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care within the established scope of practice. This role emphasizes adherence to ethical standards and regulatory guidelines, ensuring patient safety and promoting evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in alignment with the Nurse Practice Act.
- Ensure safety in practice and maintain awareness of ethical standards.
- Report safety concerns and medical errors promptly.
- Supervise and guide team members in task delegation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
- Utilize the nursing process to tailor care plans to individual patient needs.
Qualifications:
- BSN degree preferred.
- Completion of clinical experience in an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in New Jersey required.
- National certification preferred.
- BLS certification required; NRP and PALS certifications within specified timeframes.
