Position Overview
This role involves delivering general medical assistance under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider in an outpatient clinic environment. The position is associated with a franchised business location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit, and prepare the patient for examination
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all ordered tests
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols
  • Collect blood samples and prepare labs for processing
  • Conduct laboratory tests, maintain lab-quality controls, and perform equipment upkeep as per guidelines
  • Respond to laboratory messages and callback requests
  • Execute drug screening procedures in compliance with regulations
  • Document and administer patient immunizations as per protocols
  • Prepare examination rooms; sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
Qualifications
  • Certification as an AMT-registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistant is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience is preferred.
