We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Richelieu Hardware. As a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales activities towards cabinet and furniture manufacturers in your territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales of Richelieu's Board and Panel products.
- Schedule and hold face-to-face meetings with new and existing customers to learn about their business needs and provide solutions.
- Manage and analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Provide exceptional customer service, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and business partner.
- Stay up-to-date with market conditions, competitor analysis, and Richelieu's product offerings to provide informed solutions to customers.
- Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions and track sales performance.
- Travel regularly to visit customers, with occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in the wood panel, laminate, and board industry, preferably in the kitchen and/or bath space.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to schedule and manage your own time, prioritizing tasks and delivering results.
- Analytical and planning skills, with the ability to monitor and adjust sales strategies as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience with CRM software an asset.
