Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales of Richelieu's Board and Panel products.
  • Schedule and hold face-to-face meetings with new and existing customers to learn about their business needs and provide solutions.
  • Manage and analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and business partner.
  • Stay up-to-date with market conditions, competitor analysis, and Richelieu's product offerings to provide informed solutions to customers.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions and track sales performance.
  • Travel regularly to visit customers, with occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in the wood panel, laminate, and board industry, preferably in the kitchen and/or bath space.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to schedule and manage your own time, prioritizing tasks and delivering results.
  • Analytical and planning skills, with the ability to monitor and adjust sales strategies as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience with CRM software an asset.
