Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

PTSolutions, a leading industrial tool supplier in the Midwest and one of the top 100 distributors in the United States, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Seattle market.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional to develop and maintain business relationships with our customers in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer business models and product needs, with the ability to craft solutions that meet and exceed their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business relationships with potential and existing customers, meeting KPIs for prospecting and closing deals.
  • Understand customer business models and product needs, providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Prospect new clients in the assigned territory, expanding sales with existing clients.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on all product lines, providing reports on progress and opportunities for growth.
  • Respond to RFQs as necessary, working closely with other teams on larger projects to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Pursue VMI opportunities, notifying customers of signature brand products.
  • Work with core supplier target account programs, scheduling sales calls and presentations.
  • Maintain established margin objectives, encouraging customer website usage.
Requirements:
  • CNC Machining experience or Industrial distribution or supply chain experience.
  • Outside Sales experience required, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing sales territory, with excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-directed and highly productive, with the ability to plan and organize tasks and work responsibilities to achieve goals and objectives.
