About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our acquisition team, you will play a critical role in supporting our defense clients in the acquisition and contract management lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pre- and post-award federal contracts, including procurement planning, price and cost analyses, and contract closeout.
  • Provide contractual consultation to government clients, including researching, analyzing, and interpreting complex rules and regulations.
  • Utilize DoD contract-writing systems, such as SPS PD2, to draft contract modifications and technical instructions.
  • Track contract and CLIN ceiling or burn rates, and anticipate upcoming contract actions.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems, work without considerable direction, anticipate clients' needs, and proactively provide solutions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in DoD or DON contracts management.
  • Experience with DoD cradle-to-grave, including post-award contract management.
  • Experience with providing contractual consultation to a government client.
  • Experience with using the complete Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), defense federal acquisition regulations system (DFARS), and principles of acquisition planning.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SPS PD2 contract writing system.
  • ITIL Foundation V4 certification.
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) CON I, II, or III certification.
  • PMP certification.
