ENT and Allergy Associates, a leading ENT and Allergy medical practice in New York & New Jersey, is on the lookout for a dedicated and personable full-time licensed Hearing Aid Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Assist in the fitting and programming of hearing aids to achieve optimal performance, comfort, and sound quality.
  • Provide essential education to patients regarding the use, care, and maintenance of hearing aids.
  • Address any patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
  • Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments, including basic troubleshooting, routine adjustments, and cleanings.
  • Make follow-up calls to patients to ensure their satisfaction with their hearing devices.

Administrative and Equipment Management:

  • Maintain organized and accurate patient records.
  • Handle the packaging and mailing of earmold orders, device repairs, and manufacturer/lab returns.
  • Manage inventories of supplies and loaner devices.

Support for Audiologists:

  • Communicate effectively with audiologists regarding updates on orders, insurance verifications, or prior authorizations.
  • Assist audiologists in completing clinical appointments as necessary.

General Duties:

  • Perform infection control duties within the clinic.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

Requirements:

  • Possession of an active NY Hearing Aid Dispensing License.
