Position Summary: We are seeking a full-time Licensed Family Support Specialist for our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. The ACT team offers innovative community-based mental health treatment aimed at facilitating the recovery and integration of adults facing serious mental health challenges and co-occurring substance use disorders. The specialist will provide routine treatment services, incorporate family goals, and deliver family psycho-education. The Family Support Specialist will assist clients in achieving wellness, recovery, and fostering positive community relationships through evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed, person-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments covering psychiatric history, mental status, diagnosis, physical and dental health, substance use, education, employment, social development, functioning, daily living activities, and family dynamics.
- Address needs related to housing, income support, education, vocational training, social supports, employment, and primary healthcare.
- Engage families and social supports in the treatment process.
- Provide assistance in engagement, problem-solving, wellness self-management, medication support, family support and treatment, individual mental health, relapse prevention, harm reduction, and substance use counseling.
- Offer 24-hour crisis intervention on a rotating schedule.
- Deliver the majority of treatment contacts in community settings.
- Document client progress in accordance with established protocols.
- Participate in daily team meetings and treatment planning reviews.
- Adhere to ACT policies and procedures, as well as agency policies, while maintaining professional standards.
- Utilize client data for clinical decision-making, quality improvement, and tracking progress.
- Demonstrate a commitment to cultural competency, diversity, and inclusion.
- Share client data with clients to facilitate shared decision-making.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Active LMHC, LMSW, or LCSW with a Master's degree in a Human Services field; limited permit holders may be considered.
- Experience with culturally competent treatment approaches.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Basic computer skills.
- Reliability, ability to work independently, and maintain confidentiality.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Compliance with pre-employment clearances as required by regulatory bodies.

- This position is community-based and mobile in nature.
Employee Classification: Full-time
Benefits:
- Salary Range: $57,000 - $85,000, based on qualifications, experience, and departmental budget.
