Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Manager to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Humanities Institute, coordinating with senior leadership and staff to ensure the smooth operation of daily business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with senior leadership and staff to provide administrative support and manage daily operations
  • Evaluate and analyze projects to ensure quality project management, completion, and delivery
  • Manage human resources operations, including Workday business processes and staff supervision
  • Develop reports, briefs, presentations, and other materials to advance strategic goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental and university policies and procedures
  • Assist with strategic planning and budgeting, including working with HI leadership and COLA Centralized Business Services
  • Manage program development, including assisting with strategic planning, reports, and meeting minutes
  • Oversee administrative operations for public events, including securing space and ensuring compliance with University and College policies
  • Supervise and manage administrative operations for undergraduate work-study students
  • Coordinate communications and provide content for the HI website and social media accounts
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A bachelor's degree and relevant experience in administrative management or a related field are required.
