Job Title: Manager of Retirement Administration

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving white glove administrative support for client's retirement offerings. This role requires a strong understanding of the retirement industry and the ability to manage multiple projects and implementations with varying deliverables.

About the Role

The Manager of Retirement Administration is responsible for managing the implementation of new retirement groups, overseeing the Retirement Services Account Managers, and managing the day-to-day operations of the retirement department. You will be expected to provide excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize in a busy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the implementation of new retirement groups from post-sale to inception, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  • Provide oversight of the Retirement Services Account Managers, driving performance and development through coaching, feedback, and goal-setting.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the retirement department, including monitoring and facilitating client distribution requests for applicable clients.
  • Partner with the Account Management team and other internal departments to provide consistent marketing and customer service to existing clients.
  • Represent the company at trade associations, conferences, and tradeshows to network and promote products.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy and confidentiality requirements, including SOC controls and HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the employee benefits/retirement industry required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or equivalent education and experience required.
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and implementations with varying deliverables.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize in a busy work environment.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive retirement teams.
  • Thorough knowledge of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) law required.
  • Expert computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and the Internet.
