Boon is seeking a highly skilled Retirement Administration Manager to drive the success of our retirement offerings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our clients, managing team members, and supporting the sales process through implementation.

The Retirement Administration Manager will oversee the implementation of new retirement groups from post-sale to inception, provide oversight of the Retirement Services Account Managers, and manage the day-to-day operations of the retirement department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the implementation of new retirement groups from post-sale to inception.
  • Provide oversight of the Retirement Services Account Managers and manage their performance and development.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the retirement department.
  • Review action plans and establish performance goals for the sales team.
  • Hire, train, support, track sales performance, provide performance feedback, counsel for improved performance, motivate, and recognize employees.
  • Partner with the Account Management team and other internal departments to provide consistent marketing and customer service to existing clients.
  • Monitor and facilitate client distribution requests for applicable clients with 3/16 services.
  • Represent Boon at trade associations, conferences, and tradeshows to network and promote products.
  • Pass all applicable trainings specific to HIPAA and any other company required trainings.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to comply with applicable data privacy and confidentiality requirements.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the employee benefits/retirement industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and implementations with varying deliverables.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize in a busy work environment.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to drive retirement teams.
  • Thorough knowledge of ERISA law.
  • Expert computer skills with Microsoft Office and the Internet.
