Job Title: Executive Director of Financial Operations

About the Role:

Digi Security Systems, a leading provider of custom video surveillance, electronic access control, and intrusion detection solutions, is seeking an experienced financial executive to join our leadership team as Executive Director of Financial Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Leadership: Own all corporate accounting operations, including financial close process, internal and external reporting, annual audit, detailed financial analyses, and integration of the accounting tech stack.
  • Accounting Policy and Reporting: Drive consistency in accounting policies and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for stakeholders.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team, providing training and support to ensure their success.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Collaborate with the CEO to lead the budget process, develop financial forecasts, and identify key performance indicators to drive business growth.
  • Process Improvement: Maintain and improve business systems, processes, and controls, including budgets and key performance indicators, to optimize financial performance.

Requirements:

  • Prior executive leadership experience in financial operations.
  • Platform experience with ADP, QuickBooks Enterprise, CRM, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Advanced financial understanding through combined education and experience.
  • Experience applying GAAP standards, including complex accounting pronouncements, such as ASC 805 (business combinations).
  • Intense self-management, well-organized, and self-motivated.
  • Detail-oriented, professional, and reliable attitude.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with construction/project-based companies and financial leadership of companies with 200+ employees.
