Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee all facets of safety, operations, sales, finance, equipment, and essential support functions. The primary focus will be on ensuring the effective execution of operational performance and growth strategies. Key competencies required for this role include strong business insight, customer orientation, talent development, results-driven mindset, strategic foresight, and team-building capabilities. This position will play a crucial role in leading our Southern Missouri operations, driving a culture of safety and fostering growth.

Core Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of safety across all teams, collaborating with safety personnel to mitigate risks and enhance employee safety.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring safe production, quality assurance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
  • Drive operational enhancements to meet or surpass company and regional objectives.
  • Develop and manage the annual operating budget in alignment with executive leadership.
  • Provide strategic direction to optimize efficiency, quality, service, and resource management.
  • Foster effective teams and mentor direct reports for future leadership roles.
  • Lead performance management, training, development, and recruitment initiatives in partnership with HR.
  • Ensure all teams are equipped with the necessary tools and training to maintain safety compliance.
  • Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets, addressing any critical issues as they arise.
  • Support the bidding and material quoting processes with expert advice.
  • Manage capital expenditure projects within the designated area.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set long-term goals and strategies.
  • Provide leadership in sales and marketing efforts to maximize product sales and profitability.
  • Maintain regular attendance and fulfill other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of leadership experience managing a team, with a proven track record in business P&L management, particularly within the construction sector.
