Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead our water infrastructure planning, design, and program management teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing client service management, strengthening existing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver water infrastructure planning, design, and/or program management of medium- to large-scale water and/or wastewater systems.
  • Oversee client service management and strengthen existing client relationships through exceptional project delivery, development of new client relationships, and identification of future business opportunities.
  • Lead project pursuits, including proposal development and interview preparation.
  • Facilitate project workshops, alternatives analysis evaluation, and decision-making.
  • Mentor entry-level professionals.
  • Oversee water, wastewater, and/or recycled water planning, design, and/or program management projects, including development and oversight of scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Prepare high-quality written work products, including master plans, technical memoranda, technical reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or a related engineering field; Master's degree preferred.
  • P.E. registration in California or the ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months of hire.
  • 7+ years of experience in planning, design, and/or construction of water, wastewater, and/or recycled water facilities.
  • Demonstration of understanding and defining project goals and requirements.
  • Team-first mindset, with a focus on collaboration, learning, and teaching others.
  • Active participation in related professional associations and knowledge of the latest industry trends.
  • Desire to operate with freedom and accountability, with a willingness to take risks and ownership of those risks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience writing proposals, presentations, technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
What We Offer

WSC INC offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $190,000 annually, depending on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan, ESOP, employer-paid short- and long-term disability, holiday pay, generous paid time off, tuition reimbursement, fitness, and health benefits program.
