Opportunity Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineers to contribute to our expanding geotechnical division within the Dams, Levees, and Civil Works sector. In this role, you will engage in a diverse range of projects and play a crucial part in our mission to deliver quality results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute geotechnical investigations or design tasks that significantly influence major company initiatives.
  • Engage in marketing activities targeting both internal and external clients.
  • Coordinate and manage geotechnical investigations for water resource projects and others.
  • Conduct technical analyses, generate geotechnical reports, and collaborate with designers to implement findings.
  • Serve as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-sized projects as required, while recognizing that project management is not the primary focus of this role.
  • Oversee a small team of professionals and technicians as necessary.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • Possession of a PE license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MicroStation, GeoStudios, LPILE, SHAFT, or similar software.
  • Demonstrated experience in project engineering and management.
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced soil mechanics, embankment design, and familiarity with USACE and DWR guidelines.
  • A commitment to actively participating in our employee-owned culture.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.
