Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for:
  • Planning and executing geotechnical investigations or design tasks that significantly influence major company initiatives.
  • Engaging in marketing efforts for both internal and external clients.
  • Organizing, conducting, and managing geotechnical investigations for water resource projects and other assignments.
  • Performing technical analyses, preparing geotechnical reports, and collaborating with designers to implement recommendations.
  • Acting as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-sized projects as required, although project management is not the primary focus of this role.
  • Supervising a small team of professionals and technicians as necessary.
  • Executing additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, MicroStation, GeoStudios, LPILE, SHAFT, or other relevant software.
  • Demonstrated project engineering and project management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced soil mechanics, embankment design, and familiarity with USACE and DWR guidelines.
  • A commitment to actively participating in our employee-owned culture.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.
