Key Responsibilities

The Civil Design Section is anticipating an increase in workload and is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to provide essential support for upcoming projects. This role will involve managing projects, serving as a senior technical advisor, and leading engineering deliverables such as plans, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and supporting calculations.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing and managing multi-disciplinary civil projects.
  • Mentoring mid-level and junior engineers.
  • Leading the preparation of contract documents.
  • Developing plan drawings, technical specifications, design documentation reports, bid quantities, and construction cost estimates.
  • Reviewing plan drawings and coordinating with AutoCAD drafters and Civil 3D designers.
  • Conducting site visits to verify field conditions.
  • Executing engineering tasks that require innovative thinking and creativity to tackle unique challenges without specific code-based guidance.
  • Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • Professional registration or license.
  • Proficiency in preparing designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
