We are seeking a skilled Event Coordination Expert to orchestrate exceptional gatherings. Collaborating closely with the Events Manager and the dedicated team, you will oversee every facet of event planning, from venue selection to post-event evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Cultivate new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships.
  • Effectively manage ongoing business and navigate a pipeline of inquiries, prospects, and confirmed bookings.
  • Identify potential business opportunities, close deals, address objections, negotiate terms, and understand client needs.
  • Conduct targeted client visits to enhance private dining sales.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal terms for services such as catering, decor, and entertainment.
  • Act as the primary contact for all vendor-related client requirements.

Event Management:

  • Oversee all catered functions from planning to execution, including delegating responsibilities.
  • Coordinate and ensure the successful execution of all aspects of catering and conference events, including guest services, room setups, and special requests.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure that event specifications are communicated and executed flawlessly.
  • Create detailed banquet event orders and necessary documentation outlining each event's purpose, menu, decor, setup, and billing instructions.
  • Manage all event operations, ensuring excellence in guest satisfaction through effective staff training.
  • Conduct final checks on event day to ensure all standards are met.
  • Monitor event progress and swiftly address any issues that arise.
  • Evaluate the success of events and compile reports.

General Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining continuous client communication.
  • Experience working with individuals at all levels, including C-Level executives.
  • Proven problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during events.
  • Strong collaboration skills to ensure seamless guest service and creative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop talent within the organization.
  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced with event management software.
  • Degree in hospitality management, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
