Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join our Manufacturing Technology team at Chemours. This role will be responsible for performing engineering assignments involving the application of established electrical & instrumentation (E&I) technology and principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to improve the effectiveness of the manufacturing facilities.
- Support the performance and improvement of the site electrical distribution system.
- Support the performance and improvement of the site instrumentation and electrical equipment.
- Implement small and large projects as needed to replace, improve or add to the site instrumentation and electrical equipment.
- Develop preventive and predictive programs for the E&I scope.
- Participate in project teams and all activities related to E&I technical support.
- Conduct field assessments and audits on E&I equipment.
- Lead and implement all Chemours standard/policy related to E&I installations and maintenance.
- Lead RCFA pertaining to electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Minimum of a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Experience with basic electrical and instrumentation design and installation (motors, motor starters, drives, soft-starters, instrumentation, etc.).
- Knowledgeable in the measurement of flow, pressure, temperature, level, pH and conductivity.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple, complex, time-sensitive projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Process Safety Management (PSM) experience.
- 5+ years of Electrical Engineering work experience in a chemical manufacturing process or in the oil & gas industry.
- PLC Experience.
- Experience with a Honeywell Distributed Control System.
- Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) Certification.
