Staff Instrumentation

C&I Engineering is seeking a talented and driven individual to join our Electrical Engineering team as a Staff Instrumentation & Controls Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-discipline projects, directing and monitoring support staff.
- Develop P&IDs and create typical electrical and instrument design documents.
- Specify process instrumentation, including level, pressure, flow, temperature, and other related instrumentation.
- Prepare complete design packages, including a scope of work that meets design intents and customer expectations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an ABET-accredited engineering program with a minimum of 10 years of related work experience.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally to client locations, vendor shops, and project sites.
- Experience required in chemical, refinery, or food & beverage industries for new or retrofit projects.
- Must comply with drug-free workplace requirements.
- Must be able to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and pass any required background checks.
- Performs work in a safe manner in accordance with C&I and client requirements.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, which could include exposure to the weather, heights, small spaces, noise, etc., while working on job sites.
- Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer License.
- Industry work experience.
- Leadership experience.
- Experience with SI or CAD.
