The Senior Financial Analyst will be pivotal in shaping the company’s strategic direction, focusing on a variety of Corporate Development, Pipeline Development, and Enterprise Risk Management initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Corporate Development & Risk Management, this role involves assisting in deal sourcing, preliminary evaluations, investment strategies, executive presentations, and supporting Transaction Diligence throughout the acquisition process.

This position also plays a crucial role in advancing MCC's Insurance & Risk Management strategies, which are vital for the success of a large, multinational manufacturing entity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Development: Identify and source potential acquisition targets through comprehensive analysis of customers, products, markets, technologies, and competitors.
  • Develop initial financial projections for acquisition targets in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Coordinate diligence workstreams across various departments, including Finance, Tax, IT, and Operations.
  • Conduct multiple valuation analyses to establish appropriate valuation ranges and recommendations for leadership.
  • Assist in preparing executive presentations for acquisition approvals by the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
  • Support integration efforts post-acquisition to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Enterprise Risk Management: Manage relationships with insurance brokers and carriers, ensuring comprehensive coverage and risk mitigation.
  • Review and update reporting on insurance programs and claims.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical thinker capable of managing multiple projects and timelines.
  • Advanced financial acumen with the ability to assess financial statements and analyze performance for M&A opportunities.
  • Proficient in developing complex financial models and projections.
  • Excellent presentation skills, comfortable communicating with upper management.
  • Team-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate development, investment banking, or related fields.
