About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at First Choice Health Centers. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Engagement: Prepare patients for appointments, collect and record clinical information, and respond to patient phone calls and document interactions.
  • Clinical Support: Manage patient care according to approved protocols, schedule tests and treatments, and assist patients with identifying suitable resources and services.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately and timely document patient interactions and clinical activities in the electronic health record.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the care team to ensure smooth office operations and delivery of excellent service.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program or completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Program. Certified Medical Assistant is a plus.
  • Experience: 1+ years of MA/CNA experience. CNA licensed candidates must have at least 6 months of hospital experience to qualify.
  • Certifications: BLS Certification.
